Temperley London designer Alice Temperley described her Fall 2012 collection as "polished folk," and with the mix of Russian-bohemian and luxe details, she got it completely right. The bold colors on the maxi dress in the first look caught my eye right away, but the gold accents that followed gave an opulence to the collection. A-line skirts and lace lent a slight youthfulness, and it's worth mentioning how perfectly the accessories were styled: the large fur hats elevated each look; chunky, contrasting jewelry looked rich, not distracting; and gold tasseled belts helped maintain a cohesiveness throughout.
